New Feature: Custom Invoice

Custom Invoice is a powerful tool empowers physicians and clinics to seamlessly bill patients for uninsured services. Best of all, this feature is completely free, with no hidden charges for clinics. Patients can opt to pay through credit cards, cash, or Sparrow credits, making the payment process flexible and convenient.

How to create a Custom Invoice

  1. Sign in to Sparrow Health Platform: Log in to the Sparrow Health platform and navigate to the "Custom Invoice" section, which is located in the left-hand side menubar.

  2. Select a Patient:

    • Search for a patient using their name, email, or health card number.
    • If the patient you're looking for doesn't have a profile, you can quickly create a new profile with essential information by clicking "Add New Patient".

  3. Browse and Create Services:

    • Once you've selected or added a patient, you can browse through the list of services.
    • To create a new service for this invoice only, click "Add One-Time".
    • To create a new service that will be saved for future use, click "Create a New Service". Remember to click the green icon to save the service.

  4. Set Service Prices:

    • Modify the price of each individual service if needed.
    • Click the save icon to retain the modified price for future use, otherwise, the old price will be used.

  5. Choose Payment Method:

    • You have three payment options: Card, Cash, and Credits.
    • Add or select the available payment methods from the patient's profile.

  6. Cash Payment:

    • Choose the "Cash" option. The system suggests the next possible cash round-off amount, which you can adjust.
    • Choose whether to return change as Sparrow Credits or provide it in cash.

  7. Credits Payment:

    • Select the "Credits" option. If the patient doesn't have enough credits, you can add more by clicking the "Add Credits" button.

  8. Review and Process:

    • A preview of the receipt appears on the right-hand side.
    • Verify the details and click "Process Transaction" to complete the payment.

  9. Notification:

    • We will send an email notification to the patient (if an email is on file) about the transaction.
